The purpose of our advisory program is to:

  • ensure than each student is known well at school by at least one adult who is that youngster's advocate (advisor).

  •  guarantee that every student belongs to a peer group.

  • help every student find ways of being successful within the academic and social options the school provides.

Benefits of a strong school advisory program include:

  • helping our students navigate the social and emotional issues unique to upper elementary and middle school.

  • creating a positive school culture.

  • creating a proactive safety net and support structure.

  • facilitating easier communication.

In the end, what makes our advisory programs so powerful are the relationships that they help to foster between students and faculty. These relationships allow for free and open communication, letting students know they can ask for help, and giving advisors insight into the struggles that students are facing. These relationships are what truly support academic success and excellence.
