Borough School's Broadcasting class empowers our students to drive production of Borough Television (BTV). Students who participate in this club learn about the myriad of roles that are required to manage and execute a successful broadcast. Students operate the TriCaster (which is used to stream a live broadcast), hone their public speaking and/or acting skills while sitting in the anchor chair, produce and/or direct segments, edit videos and clips on iMovie and WeVideo, and research, organize and film content that will air on BTV segments. Both teamwork and problem solving are required as the students add new segments, amend scripts, or simply react to the late breaking news of the day.
